ACLU: Stand For Your Rights: A Benefit For The ACLU

GOAL:

As the leader in Live Streaming Engagement, Telescope was brought in to power “Stand for Rights,” a monumental campaign to raise funds for the ACLU.

Telescope’s Live Studio technology successfully streamed the celebrity fueled ‘Live-a-thon’ to three different Facebook pages (Stand for Rights, Huffington Post, and Funny or Die) simultaneously.

Several of Live Studio’s engagement graphics and features were incorporated into the streams (i.e. Viewer Comments To-Air, CTAs, etc.). In addition, each stream included a Donate button giving viewers the opportunity to donate to the ACLU without ever leaving the Facebook Live.

Utilizing Live Studio’s Scheduling Tool, the ACLU was able to set a ‘reminder’ prior to the stream so Facebook users could opt-in to be notified when the stream started. The scheduling tool also enabled audiences to begin donating before the stream– generating over $52,341 before going live.

In 4 hours, the three streams reached millions of viewers and raised over $250k+ for the ACLU.
