OVERVIEW
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee is an American late-night talk and news satire television program that airs on TBS. Telescope was approached to produce and power a live pre-show watch party for an hour-long special episode of the show – “The Great American Puerto Rico”.
Utilizing our Live Studio platform we produced the half hour pre-show show, featuring Samantha Bee and a group of guests calling attention to fundraising efforts for Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
In addition to the pre-show live stream for the special Puerto Rico episode, TBS enlisted Telescope to live-stream highlights from the weekly show on Facebook Live prior to each episode’s premiere broadcast, as well as one-off segments that occurred between show broadcasts.
HOW IT WORKED
Live Studio: Telescope powered the live stream of the pre-show using a multi-platform approach, which allowed us to reach a wider and more diverse audience across Facebook , YouTube , Periscope & Twitter simultaneously.
The live stream included custom graphics and fundraising calls-to-action encouraging viewers to donate money on Facebook (via the Donate Button) and YouTube in real-time while learning more about the show and the conditions on the island.
