VH1’S “Love & Hip-Hop” Afterparty Live

GOAL:

VH1 wanted to increase fan engagement and social media chatter surrounding one of its most popular shows, “Love & Hip Hop”, during the live after-show.

SOLUTION:

Telescope’s social marketing platform, Connect Live, engaged the audience through various social products by curating social comments and questions for on-air, powering real-time polls, and building #HASHTAG Battles.

RESULTS:

The premiere of the after-show had a staggering 4.5 million viewers, landing it in the #1 spot amongst cable telecasts that day. The hashtags for the real-time poll trended on Twitter and fans flooded Telescope’s moderation tool with questions for the guests of the show.
