Q1: What is your earliest memory of working for Telescope?
A: Excitedly arriving at the venue of my very first project – livestreaming a MUSE concert, in Paris, with live audience interaction via social media. An amazing experience, talk about jumping in at the deep end!
Q2: What do you like most about your job?
A: That there’s always a way. Whether it’s a tight timeframe, or a brief that has never been done before, it’s all possible. We’re an agile bunch.
Q3: What was your first job?
A: I started assisting on video shoots during school holidays to learn the ropes. I had a set of cheap walkie-talkies that I proudly handed out, which eventually ended up enabling a really cool one-take style drone shot of a local marathon.
Q4: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A car designer. Then a cameraman.
Q5: If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would purchase?
A: The best Lancia Delta Integrale I could find.
Q6: What’s your favorite song right now?
A: The Flight – Toro y Moi. But it’s impossible to pick.
Q7: What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
A: Lie in my hammock and do very little. Or get out on my bike.
Q8: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: Never buy a Lancia, unless you’ve won the lottery…
Q9: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
A: Fluency in every language, and every dialect.
Q10: What app or piece of tech can’t you live without?
A: YouTube
