Telescope partnered with BBC Studios and Magnum Media to create a live play-along fan companion for the hit UK quiz show “The 1% Club.”
The second-screen app is synchronized with The 1% Club, a live TV show, and allows viewers to become part of the show in real-time. The app is ad-supported, with sponsorship from Superdrug, and includes future plans to introduce other forms of monetization.
Telescope built a native app allowing The 1% Club viewers at home to play along with the show in real time. Fans answer the same questions, at the same time, and shared the same chance of walking away with a (virtual) cash prize and endless bragging rights. Viewers are truly welcomed to become part of the show in real-time.
Telescope’s team is managing the full lifecycle of the app – from game design to distribution and the results speak for themselves. App content (images, videos, adverts, configs) is hosted within Telescope's Campaign Manager platform.
Included both multiple choice questions and free text questions, which supports a variety of typos and answer variations hosted in CMS
