Buzzr partnered with Telescope to create a dynamic play-along bingo game and instant win sweepstakes for their devoted at-home viewers which was composed of classic TV game-show moments (in lieu of numbers).
Partnering with Telescope, Fremantle created a unique way for fans to engage with Buzzr’s iconic programming during an unprecedented time in history. Buzzr viewers were encouraged to play alongside some of Fremantle's more than 40,000 iconic game show episodes, which are shown around the clock. Each day for a week, during specific hours, viewers who tuned into Buzzr TV for the afternoon programming block could play along with Buzzr Bingo by simply logging in with an email address. Three winners were awarded with each Bingo activation and everyone who played was entered to win into the grand sweepstakes.
Buzzr asks viewers to “watch & play along” via on-air calls to action. Viewers were asked to tune into Buzzr TV during a specific programming block, sign up and get their personal card. As users watched that day’s episode, they were asked to play along by matching TV moments they saw occurring on the TV program with keywords or descriptions on their bingo card. The Buzzr Bingo application also included an instant win game component.
