Instagram Stories moderation with live content-to-air
Telescope partnered with CBS News to create a dynamic and unique viewing experience during their 2016 Presidential Debate coverage. Using the Connect Live platform, Telescope led the way with another industry first: Curating Instagram Stories from political experts and voters across the US and integrating them into CBSN’s live coverage.
CBS News anchors and reporters contributed original Instagram stories that integrated into pre-debate and post-debate coverage for both the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates live on-air.
The campaign was powered by our Connect Live platform. CBSN viewed and curated Instagram Stories, and pushed approved content live to air during their coverage of the debates.
Connect Live: Our platform pulled in Instagram Stories, enabling producers to moderate content and push approved stories to air in real-time.
This activation told the debate story by engaging the audience into CBSN’s coverage in a never before seen way.
CBSN drew a record 2.98 million streams and 1.4 million unique viewers for the first debate.
