Expedia called out to all the travel lovers across the country to join in on their "Greatest of All Trips" TikTok sweepstakes challenge for a chance to win Expedia Reward Points.
During the peak travel season over the holidays, Expedia set out to engage and reward their audience by launching their "Greatest of All Trips" (GOAT) TikTok sweepstakes challenge. To successfully execute this sweepstakes on an ever-growing platform, Expedia turned to Zeno and Telescope to build out their custom "GOAT" microsite in addition to managing the month-long TikTok sweepstakes. Adventurers from all around the world posted videos to TikTok that highlighted their travel memories in hopes to win the prize of five thousand dollars in Expedia Reward points toward their next "GOAT" dream destination!
Travelers who accepted the "GOAT" sweepstakes challenge were required to have a TikTok profile to submit their entry. To enter, users were to create a TikTok video utilizing their travel memories such as images or videos from their past trips and sync to the unique TikTok Expedia GOAT sound. Additionally, users had to follow and tag Expedia as well as include the branded hashtags #ExpediaGOAT and #sweepstakes within the video caption. Once users successfully uploaded their video to TikTok, they navigated to our custom sweepstakes microsite to submit the video link along with their username and region. Users had the ability to enter once per day.
A winner was randomly selected from each eligible region (US, UK, Canada) in which they were rewarded five thousand dollars in Expedia Rewards Points.
