Branded play-along microsite & social hub with gamified content
To promote their new show Freakish, Hulu launched an interactive website that allowed fans to engage with other users through a custom play-along hub that housed a number of Telescope products, such as InQuizator, UPic, Leaderboard and Video Reaction.
To kick off the experience, users took a personality quiz and joined a Freak Squad based on their results. As users continued to interact with various components of the application, they earned points for their squad which was visualized on a leaderboard for all to see.
Fans could share their results across their socials to score more points for the team. The social shares garnered a viral effect, creating a buzz for the show and engaging new potential fans.
