For the 2024 season of MotoGP, Telescope has joined the pit crew with Dorna Sports to help engage fans at every circuit.
For the 2024 season of MotoGP, Telescope joined the pit crew with Dorna Sports to help engage in-person fans at every circuit. Through an on-site QR code and broadcast graphics, fans were invited to seamlessly engage from their mobile devices during race weekend. Fans saw results on screen and in real-time at the venue. Fan engagement was achieved through a variety of digital products, including Telescope's Easy Poll. Scratcher Instant Win Sweepstakes, Triple Play with Prediction & Trivia, and Battle Vote. Fans that participated had a chance to win prizes, some of which included experiences that happened later on the same day, which required real-time results and delivery.
QR codes were displayed at the circuit, taking fans to a Dorna landing page. The page contained the sign-up/login mechanic, as well as link outs to our products' hub pages.
Four custom Telescope hub pages were built to house the products. Together with the landing page, all experiences were accessed on the same URL throughout the season, with users remaining logged in between products.

Custom web-based broadcast graphics were displayed on large screens at the venue to display the following:
The Trivia Leaderboard: displayed names of the current top players + a countdown, with some very nifty randomization logic
Trivia winner reveal: highlighted the winning user, who was automatically selected at random from the top tier of players.
Live Poll and Battle Vote results with animation
For Scratcher, instant prizes were delivered using the template's prize seeding system.
For Triple Play, winners were selected using the player leaderboard, with their login IDs being passed back to Dorna for fulfillment. Prizes included free tickets to future GPs, a Grid Walk experience, merchandise, and discounts to their stores. In total, we gave away over 3,000 prizes.

QR codes displayed at the circuits take fans to a landing page where they can sign up/login and participate in various engagement products.

Poll results, fan leaderboards, and winner reveals are displayed on huge screens at every circuit utilizing our on-air visualization graphics (which include animations and countdowns).
Battle Vote
Used at the race with over 250k spectators across 3 days
Promoted via QR codes across 9 jumbo screens along the racetrack
Real time results animated on the Jumbotrons while fans voted like crazy for two of the top dueling riders
These simple yet effective combination of products averaged over 200 engagements per user during MotoGP races
On average, each race weekend produced the following:
Scratcher: 1,200+ unique entries and 10,000+ scratch-offs!
Triple Play's trivia: 87% completion rate
Battle Vote: 245k+ interactions (over a 3-day event)
