Telescope bring's the excitement of the NBA All Star Game to fans everywhere.
The NBA, one of the world's most popular professional sports leagues, has always been at the forefront of fan engagement, and the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend was no different. Fans were able to vote in real-time for their picks for both the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Ruffles Celebrity Game and the Kia All-Star Game. Telescope, a leading provider of interactive audience participation solutions, and long-time NBA partner, was again tasked with powering the online votes for the NBA.
Telescope leveraged its standard voting product to build a fully branded version of the MVP vote for the NBA, which included some unique and eye-catching sponsor logo treatments. Fans were able to login and submit up to 100 votes across different players for each game, and share their participation on Twitter and Facebook. To continue to build and enhance the NBA fan database, Telescope offered a simple login and registration experience via NBA’s own single sign on and worked with their technology team to create a seamless experience in the NBA digital environment. The Telescope team coordinated live with the NBA team on the ground to flexibly open and close the vote based on game times. Using the Telescope real-time dashboards, each MVP winner was announced LIVE after the game.
