To ring in the New Year with a bang, TikTok hosted a New Years Eve virtual concert with the help from Telescope's full production and live streaming services.
As many across the world arranged at-home New Years celebrations due to the ongoing pandemic, TikTok planned to host a NYE concert live stream where everyone can tune-in and ring in the New Year together in a safe yet exciting way. TikTok and Crown and Conquer turned to Telescope for the production as well as live streaming services to stream this thrilling live event to TikTok. Prior to the ball dropping, TikTok users had the ability to join in with others around the world for an hour-long concert featuring performances from fan favorites Charlie Puth, Rico Nasty, and Kali Uchis along with guest appearances of popular TikTok creators.
Weeks leading up to New Years Eve, Telescope powered the in-person production of the stream, including the recording of each of the talent performances. Each artist's staging area was custom designed to mirror the individual artist's set.
On New Years Eve a few hours before the ball dropped, TikTok users tuned-in at 6 PM to join together for a virtual concert from their favorite artists. Additionally, guest appearances from some of TikTok's popular creators also joined in on the fun making the stream all the more fun and engaging.
