X Factor UK turned to Telescope to power live streams on YouTube for the finale episode of the show. With our Live Studio platform, we streamed the live X Factor UK finale show to YouTube along with the Finale Watch-along Party and individual performances from the finale – including Louis Tomlinson.
HOW IT WORKED
Live Streaming: Viewers could watch the X Factor UK Finale episode, the Watch-along Party (hosted by X Factor backstage presenter Roman Kemp) and individual performances live on YouTube. All streams were scheduled using the “Events” tool within YouTube, which generated a URL in advance, enabling the X-Factor to cross promote their live streams on their social media channels.

Louis Tomlinson returned to the X Factor stage for a performance of his debut solo song, which garnered over 2.8 million views and trended across YouTube.
