HAND IN HAND: A BENEFIT FOR HURRICANE RELIEF RAISES MORE THAN $55 MILLION

GOAL:

The star-studded “Hand in Hand” hurricane-relief benefit came together to raise awareness and funds for the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. It was broadcasted live on several television, radio and social media networks garnering an audience of over 40 million across all platforms combined. The one-hour special featured appearances, performances, and messages of support from more than 130 celebrities, musicians, and personalities from 4 different locations.

SOLUTION:

Having an extensive experience of working on big scale fundraising projects (Red Nose Day, Comic Relief, Stand Up to Cancer) and incredibly tight deadlines Telescope was brought in to manage donations across all platforms and power social media live streams with the Donate Button enabled, which allowed viewers to donate directly on Facebook.
