Telescope powered all voting and engagement solutions for Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Sports Awards. Prior to the live show, the online category vote determined the winners which were announced on-air. The day-of activation hub, with rotating applications, allowed viewers to engage and impact the awards show segments in real time.
Telescope launched the Kids Choice Sports Awards second screen experience where we hosted a custom iFrame and pushed six (yes six!) different products live throughout the show, including two Standard Votes, one Passion Meter, four Ratings (with custom emojis), four Scratchers, six EasyMemes, and A LOT of Fan Feed (with a custom container).

Custom built Passion Meter let fans be part of the action as graphics were broadcast alongside the competition on air.
EasyMeme let kids participate in real time by creating memes from photos pulled from the pre-recorded show.

The activations were highly successful garnering large engagement numbers increasing social awareness & tune in around the show.
The show’s experience drew great engagement, including over 50,000 EasyMemes created and over 2.5 million clicks during Passion Meter!
